Piano Lessons with Yi-Ting Hsieh

Yi-Ting Hsieh is a native of Taiwan and has performed solo, orchestral, and chamber works in addition to accompanying singers and instrumentalists both in Taiwan and in the United States. As a young musician, Yi-Ting placed well in a variety of competitions, including 1st place in the Taiwanese National Student Competition of Music and 3rd place in the Young Artist Music Competition of Taiwan. She subsequently earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from the National Taichung University of Education and, during that time, frequently served as a collaborative pianist in a number of college music competitions.

In America, she has received her Master of Music degree from the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

​Yi-Ting is now an accomplished and passionate teacher and an active musician serving in various Boston chamber ensembles and orchestras, while also establishing a loyal studio of piano students in the Greater Boston area. Her favorite thing about teaching is being able to work with all sorts of people, especially with children!
